I had a wonderful stay at the Old Farm Villa. the location is fabulous, with a beautiful area surrounding it. the cottage itself was lovely, with a comfortable bed, well, equipped kitchen, and a nice hot tub in the garden. the hosts were extremely helpful and easy to contact, and even baked us some gluten, free cupcakes for our arrival. I also appreciated the option to buy fresh eggs from the farm's chickens and the delicious homemade muffins. the village of Longhope was within walking distance and had a charming church, recreation ground, and local shop. the nearby pub, Farmer's Boy Inn, was a convenient spot to visit. the Old Farm Villa was also very dog, friendly, with a secure garden area and access to a secure dog paddock attached to the farm. it was a delightful experience. Cons: Nothing bad to say. 😊.

Free WiFi, a children's playground , a garden , and free private parking.
Neverending supply of hair on the pillows and carpets, and a kitchen that smelled like a zoo.

The welcome pack was a nice touch, with eggs, milk, and muffins provided. The location was peaceful, with plenty of opportunities for walks and exploring nearby. The use of the dog paddock was a pleasant surprise and great for our furry friend.
The property had a slight odor of dogs, which may not be noticeable for dog owners but was a drawback for us. The stairs were quite steep and could be challenging for anyone who needs support.

Communication with the owners was great, from start to finish. They really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. the welcome pack with fresh eggs, milk, and muffins was a lovely touch. the location was perfect for us, with easy access to nearby towns and the beautiful countryside. And the best part was the hot tub, which we thoroughly enjoyed in the evenings.
. The stairs in the cottage were quite steep and narrow, which could be challenging for some guests.

The best aspects of our Christmas stay were the cozy cottage with a real wood burner and the beautiful flowers we could see from the kitchen window. The location was also key, being in peaceful countryside but still close to amenities like a bakery, pub, and hotel. The host, who is a nurse, left us sweet treats like cakes and eggs and even recommended a nearby spot for afternoon tea.
The worst aspects of our stay were the cleanliness issues we encountered. The pillows and throws had hair on them and the carpets were full of hairs, which was quite off-putting.

For those with allergies or a dislike for dog smells, be aware that the living room might have a strong dog scent.

The location was perfect for day trips to Gloucester, Cheltenham, and the Forest of Dean. The cottage was very dog-friendly with a secure garden and access to a dog paddock attached to the farm. The surrounding area offered plenty of amazing walks and attractions like Castles, Puzzlewood, and the May Hill fort.
I felt extremely welcome during my stay at The Old Farm and had no complaints whatsoever.

The cottage was super cozy, with a cool vibe and all the stuff we needed. The village of Longhope was wicked, with a sick church and a rad local shop. And don't even get me started on the pub, Farmer's Boy Inn, where we chowed down on some seriously tasty pies. Plus, the dog-friendly vibe was amaze, with a sweet garden and a cool dog paddock.
We had an awesome time, but it would've been even more lit if there was a sick party space or a chill hangout area for us young party animals. #PartyOn

During my recent stay at The Old Farm, I was delighted with the beautiful and quiet setting. It provided the perfect backdrop for exploring the surrounding areas of interest. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities and appliances. The owners had thoughtfully provided everything we needed, from cleaning products to towels and bedding. The highlight of my sister's 60th birthday celebration was Lisa's very nice attention to detail, arranged a cake, flowers, and balloons that left us all in awe. Not only did the location cater to our family's convenience, but there was also an abundance of attractions and activities to enjoy.
The satellite TV only offered limited channels, challenging to find our favorite shows.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with plenty of amazing walks in the nearby forest and beautiful areas like Symonds Yat and Offa's Dyke. the hosts are very accommodating and allowed us to charge our electric vehicle during our stay. the cottage we stayed in had a hot tub and a jacuzzi bath, providing a luxurious experience. the hosts even left us cakes and eggs as a sweet gesture.
Some areas of the hotel could have been cleaner, with a slight smell in the kitchen and some hairs on the pillows and carpets.
